Scriptural Influence

Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. (Romans 12:11)

The Lord has called me to work diligently to serve others enthusiastically with my skills and passions.

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s spirit when he adopted you as his own children. (Romans 8:15)

I would not be here today if I still had a mindset of fear. Opening this practice required a major step of faith in Jesus, and becoming a child of God changed my life perspective and led me to live more confidently and boldy.

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1)

What I love about my profession is that I get to use my hands to help my patients’ bodies heal naturally. I am grateful to use the gifts God has given me, which I believe is a form of praise and worship to Him.

Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. (Romans 6:13)

I now know what it means to live by the Spirit. I was spiritually reborn and made alive when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Because of this, I will now use the totality of my mind, heart, and body to serve others for His glory.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. (Romans 5:2)

Through faith, I am standing in a position I do not take for granted. I am thrilled to have the opportunity take care of people in pain and share my testimony for God’s glory. I also look forward to getting to know your story and goals.

I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified. (1 Corinthians 9:27)

I am an athlete at heart. Being a competitive tennis player growing up and endurance exercise enthusiast throughout adulthood, I put a high priority on training and staying active. I do not make any recommendations that I have not done, am currently doing, or that would not be safe or efficacious for improving your musculoskeletal (MSK) health.

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

I have known about this verse since I was a child, but as a Christian adult it has a different meaning. Because the Holy Spirit lives in me, I make healthy lifestyle choices daily to use my body as it was designed. Through physical exercise, I feel closer to God. It is my goal to keep a healthy musculoskeletal (MSK) system for years to come so that I can continue to exercise, practice my craft to benefit my patients, and glorify God.

Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up. (2 Corinthians 4:1)

The Good News of Jesus Christ reigns above any hardship that I am currently experiencing. I will continue to improve my clinical skills, chiropractic technique, and patient experience in my office despite any setbacks.

We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this. (2 Corinthians 4:2)

You can trust me to be honest regarding your diagnosis, treatment plan, and prognosis. If I do not feel I am the right practitioner to help you with your condition, I will explain the reasons why and make the appropriate referral.

Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. (Philippians 2:12)

Through my salvation, I now have a life purpose and see an opportunity in every encounter to let my light shine and work on someone who is important to God. The human body is a masterpiece, and I love to problem solve and find ways to help my patients heal as safely and conservatively as possible.

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. (Colossians 3:23)

As the Co-Founder and Chief Serving Officer, I have been entrusted to steward and run this practice in a manner that is faithful to God, meaning staying true to His word and the convictions He has given me.
